No pain of spending, of course, no gain of any coin
This season's HA is definitely a bummer. Chinese coins went bipolar, i.e, either too expensive or too cheap. the number is also very limited. Only a few Chinese old gold coins got hot bidding. HA has been calculatingly releasing old gold Chinese coins over past a few sessions. It is kinda of scared as you never know how many more are still hiding in safe box.
There was a big chuck of Brazilian old gold coins released by Dr. Roberto Monteiro ranging from King Jose, to Pedro and insane maria, then to Joao, before Chinese lots. It took more than three hours to finish that block. Then it was after midnight in East time. Basically, I did not participated the real time bidding. Four proxy bidding did not catch anything, unsurprisingly.
likewise, Goldberg's Chinese block was also very small and unattractive. But there were a whole lot of British coppers and crowns. overall, the bidding was lukewarm.
It is nice to be a sideline observer. would be more than appreciative if someone can show off their harvest
